Ilm ul Kalam in Urdu PDF Download
Ilm ul Kalam (علم الکلام) is a branch of Islamic theology that deals with the rational arguments for the existence and attributes of God, the prophethood of Muhammad, and the validity of the Quran. It is also known as kalam (کلام), which means "speech" or "discourse" in Arabic. Ilm ul Kalam emerged as a response to the challenges posed by various philosophical and religious movements, such as Greek philosophy, Mu'tazilism, Ash'arism, Shi'ism, and Sufism.
One of the most prominent scholars of Ilm ul Kalam was Allama Shibli Nomani (علامہ شبلی نعمانی), who was born in 1857 in Azamgarh, India. He was a historian, poet, critic, and reformer who wrote extensively on various aspects of Islamic culture and civilization. He was also a disciple of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of Aligarh Muslim University. Allama Shibli Nomani wrote several books on Ilm ul Kalam, such as Al-Kalam (الکلام), Ilm ul Kalam (علم الکلام), and Mabahith fi Ilm al-Kalam (مباحث فی علم الکلام). He also wrote a biography of Imam Abu Hanifa, the founder of the Hanafi school of jurisprudence.
